1. Steel free-floating base flashing with a unique interlocking counter-flashing weather resistant connection.
2. Stainless steel fasteners are installed at
1-1/2” o.c. increments attaching the Galvaply® panels to the framing system.
3. 2” Polyisobutylene seam gasket compressed between panels and flashing accessories maintains a waterproof seal at all steel junctures.
4. Galvalume® steel “Z” channels fastened to the deck provides a secure, energy-absorbing structure for the attachment of the Galvaply® flat seam panels.
5. Large, 10' x 50' 26-gauge lightweight Galvalume® steel panels. Galvaply™panels absorb thermal expansion and contraction and are stronger, and more puncture-resistant than competitive flat seam systems.
6. One-inch expanded polystyrene tongue-and-groove insulation boards between the “Z” channels forms a solid base for the Galvaply panels, while providing increased R-value.
7. Tapered insulation can be installed beneath the framing system for additional slope.
8. Existing deck
Galvaply is made of lightweight, flexible steel available in a white pre-painted finish or a bare mill finish. The smooth finish allows for complete washing of the surface during rain.
